Douglas Kear Murray is a man who has fallen out of time. In a time that demands of males a constant air of self-depreciation – in dressing sense, speech, manner - the 44-year-old blue-eyed and auburn-haired British journalist with the signature rolled-up sleeves appears almost too sophisticated, too confident, and classy to be “made for these times”, as Brian Wilson sung. Was introduced to Douglas Murray at the live Monk Debate in Toronto last year - he (and Matt Tahibi) mopped the floor with their opponents who were trying to support mainstream media. Brilliant!
I manage not to notice him before. He does have a cool attitude, some silly ideas as well. But in a hypothetical scenario of being trapped on an a remote island just with him and Owen Jones i would enjoy so much pairing with Douglas to make fun of Jones.
