I gave up trying to understand Chomsky long ago. He's still very good on war and peace, I think: one of the few intellectuals to have taken a brave stance re Ukraine (he's gone so far as to praise Trump's anti interventionism). But then he goes full totalitarian when it comes to vaccines, and, in a few months' time, the regime will wheel him out so he can proclaim yet again that the Republican Party is the most dangerous organization in human history (worse than the Nazis, apparently). The guy makes me so dizzy I pay no attention to him anymore.

I didn't realise how left wing I was until the conspiracy theories about the world economic fantasy taking away our right to eat meat, the easily refutable videos by Jordan Peterson allegedly debunking climate change, the emergence of the really unhealthy and environmentally destructive 'carnivore' diet and the vilification and ridicule of vegans come along, sponsored by big ag and big oil of course (who also fund the deliberately annoying and counter-productive just stop oil photo ops) .
I am a covid 'denier' in the extreme. I see no evidence of a new disease let alone a virus nor any need for a masks and lockdowns nor any indeed any vaccine let alone mandates. I've been shocked how there is no place for scientific dissent, or even pointing out the corruption and profit of big pharma, on the left, but that doesn't make me right wing.
Both 'sides' are wrong and have been fooled by various industries and the increasing fascist police-state. They'll lock up Brand if the can, the way they have Assange, and will throw away the key.
Free speech needs to be policed by the real authorities.Let the deluded careerists pave a path to a society where we have real free speech ,if there is time with global and all.
